Soyana was invisibly panicked, she didn't want to give birth, she'd rather stay fat and pregnant the rest of her life than have the pain she'd have now. Soyana knew things, and she knew that it would hurt. She could tell by Snowstorm's calm face that she knew what she was doing but Soyana couldn't help but being afraid.
It will hurt
Echoed in her mind, the only part of Snowstorm's sentence that she had actually heard and remembered. It made Soyana a tad bit more calm that Snowstorm was going to be honest with her.
Soyana nodded and walked forward as swiftly and tried to be as agile as she could. Soyana's fear only descended until she felt a strange calm glow fall over her, but everything was alert and on edge though she was afraid they'd never make it.
