It has been a few days since Soyana has been back, Luna's belly is starting to show, its becoming rounder every day and she can fell her babies moving in her, but she was still nervous about the fact that John might now stay with the pack, leaving her pups.The pack has been safe for now, but the twins where still loose out there and that worried Luna about her pups, and Soyna's pups too...but life had to go on.


Snowstorm and Star had followed the pack to their home, but Snow was not sure if she would stay, it had been year since she left a pack and sh was not sure if she would go back..and how could you when the ones you thought loved you kick you out of your home.But Star was having fun, she played with the pups all the time, but mostly Kaylanda because her mother said she had to find more friends her own age...it was a hard life.

There was something going on with Kaylanda she did not know what it was she tried to think of it before but never remembered asking her mother about it, she has grown almost full size now, she is starting to tower over the other wolfs, her legs are long and thin, she has lost her cute puppy face and is now looking like an adult..and what worries her the most is what she feels inside.

Creek has been in good humer since that day he has played with Soyanas pup..Arista. but once in a while he has a bad day, but he tries to be good. Salmon Creek likes that pup, but nothing can change the fact that inside he has a bad side.

Drifter is starting to drift away from the pack, he thinks all is well and his job is done.. maybe all is but maybe not, he will see.

Bellatrix has grown a bit and is looking more like a pup every day then a new born, she loves playing and chasing bugs, she learns something new everyday, and her intelligence is not what her mother thinks.

Soyana was not having a good day at all, actually it had been ever since a few nights ago and it was only getting worse, anyone could tell I mean her face was tight and she kept yawning in tension. Eyes darted around at any sign of movement in the corner of her eye or the slightest rustle in the bushes. Soyana was laying down by Luna all of her pups buried in her stomach, nursing, and she couldn't help but turn to her and ask.

"Do you feel as if everything's about to go wrong somehow?"

[Stella]

Luna looked up, she could tell some thing was not right with Soyana,"I do fell like something is wrong..like in the pit of my stomach, but i thought of it as some thing else, now that you brought my attention to it, yes in away", Luna's own eyes went wide she was becoming frighten too, this could not happen.

[Jisa]

Soyana nodded her fear sort of mounting but not showing in her wise leader eyes. It was soprt of discouraging and fearsome for her babies but she had to look like she was in control and not the least bit afraid, it was her job after all.

"I don't know but something's going to happen."

Soyana answered lowly, nodding stiffly and grimly.

"But it won't happen soon, I have that feeling."

[Stella]

Luna sighed and rolled over to looked better at Soyana,she did not looked very afraid but you could tell when a mother was worried for her pups,"Im nervous but i hope all will be well", Luna tries to be composed but its hard she was thinking about all the bad things that could happen and she was getting freaked out for the younger wolfs actually..


Kaylanda saw Soyana and Luna talking to each other but she could not hear what, all she could think about is how she was still a pup in away and already be bigger than some of the wolfs that are in the pack, she sighs and rests her face on her paws, looking at the forest around them.

Soyana had this weird feeling about Luna you know it was sort of the feeling that SOyana had had... when was it? What was the significance of the situation? She'd soon remember, she always did.

"Kaylanda, what's wrong? You seem quiet."

Soyana mused because she was worried for the little wolf, not exactly a pup anymore but not an audlt either.

Then she remembered what the feeling was, Luna was about to have pups which was worrying cause they were out in the open in the forest.

Luna was felling funny as she watched Soyana speak to Kayland her stomach looked large but they where not due for a few days maybe a week,she groaned and rolled over she new what was happening,"The PUPS..they are COMING!", she tried to get up and succeed she had no idea where to go..where would she have them.Luna was panicking the pain was bad but not as bad as she new what it would be when the pups where close and when they actually came, she new that..Luna looked at her mother.

Snowstorm got up as fast as her old legs would let her, she walked quickly to Luna,"There is no time my daughter..you pups are early and im sure they will come out fast too..site down by that log and lets wait till its time..Kaylanda come here and help..Star has gone of to explore".

Luna saw Kaylanda getting up towering over her mother they walked slowly but as quickly as her pain would let her. she laid by a log that covered another log..it made it like and umbrella, she gasped the pain, how could it be pups do not come this fast, she starts to pant and pushes hard,"Mom they are coming fast some thing is wrong"., her mother tries to calm her down and tell her to push she did and a few minutes later a beautiful Black and tan Male came out just like their ad,"He shall be Sumani", she sighed, and then feels a ripple truth her..time to push, and then it was a white Female her mother announced as Kaylanda cleaned him this time,"Accalia", and a very painful one came she did not ever fell anything like it the it was gone,"A brown male", Kaylanda screamed, Luna thought for a moment while she saw his small face,"Amoux', she new she had at least one more pup left, A black female,"Kayame", she sighs but the pain was still there and a fragile gray pup come ou and her mother and Kaylanda looked shock,"What is wrong?", Snowstorm said in a very deep, grave voice,"He is not alive..he was born dead", Luna could not reply to that.

Soyana knew that Luna had to be exhausted, even more so than she herself had been when she had given birth. Everything had just happened too fast to be healthy for Luna, though she seemed able enough to name her pups while she was giving birth. Soyana knew that her pups were asleep so she got up and stretched her achy joints before going over to comfort Luna over the fact that John was not here and that the grey pup had died. Soyana nudged the small, frail and lifeless pup and felt for a heartbeat, there wasn't one. Soyana laid behind Luna and put her head on Luna's neck, comforting her.

"You're a mother Luna."

[Stella]

Luna sighed she was a mother but..she failed at keeping one of her pups alive, she felt like crying but she had to be brave for her other pups,"Yes i guess i am now, but what shall we do with ash, that what i call the gray one ", she turned her head and saw Kayame crawling the wrong way as young Kaylanda did not put her close enough, she turned around and picked up the young black pup, and lid her by her own side, Kayame started to drink the warm milk,"Mother i just fell tired and i need some one to bury lil Ash i don't want the other pups ti feel his presence here..."

Kaylanda looked confused..Luna was talking like she wa half asleep,"Well i guess we could bury him", she replied but Snowstorm cut her of,"Yes we will bury the small pup you call Ash Luna..but im older i cant dig well ..maybe Kaylanda or Creek", You could tell Snowstomr was sad that one Of Luna's pup did not even had a chance in life, but naming a dead pup..Snowstorm thought Luna was maybe to tired..or maybe she lost a lot of blood.

Soyana was worried for Luna, she sounded pretty delirious talking like that and naming a dead pup, it wasn't right it was depressing and pretty insane, it just made letting it go harder than if you just pushed it away and pretended that it never existed. Luna was probably upset that John hadn't been around and still wasn't, Soyana was wondering if he had left without a trace, and gone on with his life with a new pack. That would certainly be depressing when you'd just given birth, it wouldn't help anything.

"Just go to sleep Luna, we'll take care of everything."

[Stella]

Luna nodded , her eyes had a bit of a glare on them showing that a tear was showing up, she was tired and that one one factor but she has never lost something so close to her even though she has never met before, to get to know to its sole, but tit hurt, Luna sighed and licked every pups head, between the ear, then she curled around the pups making sure they are warm this winter, and fell asleep quit fast.

Snowstorm sighed, Luna seemed tired and her heart was broken you could tell, she looked at Soyana,"We should start a pup cemetery, we had one in my pack, every pup that did not survive or was born dead we took it away fast and dug it a pit", she looked at the small grey wolf pup that probably caused the early birth of all the others.

Kaylanda was confused how can a mother loved a pup that did not even breath, that she did not even know yet. She looked at Luna like she was a bit crazy..but she was sure that maybe one day she would know.

Salmon Creek watched the females wolf he did not want to intervene but as he heard of the dead pup, he dipped his head and walked over,"I could help with the digging, "i dont have pups,"He looked at Soyana,"and im not older", he looked at Snowstorm,"So i think im perfect", he sat down waiting to see if Soyana would agree.

Drifter looked at the pack not sure if her belonged anymore, the pack was thriving and he never in his life has stayed in a pack for three season, he sighed and sat down watching to see if they would bury the dead pup.

[Silverheart]

Silverheart, Gin, Hougen, and Genba were out hunting. They came back with two deer and immediatly dropped it when they saw the blood and then the pups. The four wolves looked shocked.

Silverheart was the first to move. She looked happy, her tail wagging a bit at the sight. "They're so cute," she said, walking over, but not close enough to disturb them or their mother.

The boys didn't know what to do, but they were careful not to go near the pups or the mom. They all circled around and began talking in low voices and glancing over at the pups, uncertainly.

Akame yawned as he walked in with his nose in the air and his eyes closed. "I smell... food and.....," he began, opening his eyes and looking at the pups. "Puppies," he said, happily, although not loud enough to disturb the mother. He knew puppies were born blind and deaf, so all he had to worry about were predators and stepping on them.

John walked in after Akame. He looked tired, his eyes half closed. Actually, he looked like he had stayed up all night the last couple of nights. He suddenly ran into Akame. "Watch it," he snapped, then he moved his eyes to what his Beta was looking at. He saw the small furballs and their mother and he had no idea what to do. He just stood there, staring.

[Stella]

Snowstorm looked at the wolf as they came, she looked happy to see that they where all fine but there was one sad new Snowstorm new some would know its like, like herself, some would cry over, like Luna,she looked at the wolf and called out quietly,"The pups are fine two males and two females, but there i one pup that was born dead, it broke Luna's heart, we told her to take a nap as she is Tired and over reacting to the grey puppy situation", Snowstorm stopped then that last word could have different meaning to some people.

Kaylanda was happy for the living pups even though she looked like a big monster around them with her long skinny legs, she was even taller than Luna now, Wow i cant believe it!, but it was true, and she was now hoovering around Luna happy to have helped in the birthing.

[Silverheart]

Akame's eyes saddened a bit. He looked at John. "Your a papi now," he said, lightly pushing the wolf-dog with his shoulder. "Say something," he added.

John stumbled a bit as he was pushed. He blinked and still didn't say a thing. He just turned around and walked back into the forest, ignoring the shocked stares as he pssed a few wolves. When he heard his name being called he began running.

Akame stared after his alpha. He looked at Snowstorm. "I can't believe he just did that. He just ran off, without a second thought about Luna or the pups," he said.
