Ana was staring listlessly out of the livingroom window, out into the completely white world that lay beyond her house. The snow had come down so thick and heavy that nothing was any other colour than the glorious alabaster ivory white of the gleaming snow. The temperature had dropped and clouds disappeared, leaving christmas eve to be the most beautiful sight of winter. Anna's fire was billowing out cozy heat in repeated waves, warming her small body fast. She had just gotten back from Iris's hpuse, even just walking down the driveway had frozen her to the point where shivers racked her body frequently, she was easily satisfied with her wood fire though. Maybe she should go and see Erik once she decided to brave the cold again, she would do that- definitely.

Erik Night
OKay, so as to be-or not to be- expected, Erik was driving up to ANna's house, some jeans on and a kinda dressyish shirt, though he made it look clearly casual. It's amazing what rolling up sleeves and unbuttoning the first button coudl do for someone's appearance. His hari was shaggy as normal, and as he drove, he smiled the entire time. Fiannly, he reversed the car, and slid into her driveway, parking. He slid out of his seat, holding the single white rose in his right hand, the small box of chocolates in his left. He walked up to the door and knocked. He waited, holding the spectactualr flower infront of him for when she opened the door. He had chosen simple, in knowing ANna liked it. He had picked out a red rose before, but switched it emmediately. The thing he liked about this rose, is that is wasn't perfect. There was one petal in perficular the flared out at the top, but it just made the flower. It wasn't perfect, as their relationship hadn't, but it still was perfect, in it's own way. He wondered if Anna woudl get it, but mabe not. Heck, he probably wouldn't get it, but oh well. It's the thoguht that count's right?

Anna stared out the window for a second more before tearing her gaze away from the outside world and snapped back to her own. Uncrossing her legs she slid off of the sofa and straightened her clothes out before walking to the door, smiling uncontrollably because she knew it was Erik. What? She was in love, is that really a crime? Opening the door Anna kept smiling, though she toned it down a tad bit, so that she wouldn't destroy her face muscles.
"Hey."
Anna greeted in her lovely bell chime voice, okay yeah it sounds over the top but it was just Anna. She couldn't help it, she couldn't believe that it was winter already, everything had gone by so fast.

Erik Night
Erik smiled wildely, his sweet charming smile. He greeted her happily, pulling her into one of his tight huge, before holding out his hand to her.
"I wanted to get you a little something. It's not much, but once I saw it, I thought of you."
He said, his cheeks flushign a little as he handed the single white rose to her. He looked at the flared petal and smiled once more, before holding out the chocolates for her to take also.
"Oh, and every girl likes some chocolate, right?"
He said, winking cutely and then laughing a little nervously. Yeah, he was so used to being around Anna, but still when he saw her, his stomach got all wierd, like fluttery almost. He now knew the meaning of 'butterflies on your stomache.' Erik stepped forwards to hug her once mroe again, without damaging the rose. He coudln't help it, just like the stomache, it wasn't his fault.

Hugging him back, Anna took the white rose from him delicately, as if it would fall apart of she held it too firm in her grip. Of course that would happen but- Anna was Anna what can you say? When Erik offered up the chocolate she took that gracefully too, just before brushing her lips on his teeth, smiling she put the rose in a vase above the fireplace and slid the chocolate into the fridge. She was back just as quickly as she had left, Anna was efficient if anything.
"Thankyou."
She thanked before taking his hand and leading him into the livingroom, usually Anna had alot to say but she was speechless around Erik. That was pretty hard to do with Anna because she was always talking, no one had made her speechless before in her life.

Erik Night
Erik smiled as she breezed off, then returned,t aking his hand and pulling him into the living room. He sat down on the couch, and put his arm over her happily. His gaze went out the window, and he smiled, seeing the snow blanketing the area, a new sprinkle falling down. He hugged Anna with his arm and kissed her cheek, before speaking.
"Oh and Merry Chrismas."
He said, smilling largely and then laughing lightly. He hugged her once more, and then spoke once again.
"I love the snow, sometimes."
He said slowly. He did love the snow, when he could take walks, but he coud ldo without the temperature. Snow, good, cold, bad. Funny, don't you think? Erik's blue eyes watched her carefully, knowing and happy. He hadn't ever been like this before he mt her.

Anna snuggled into him when he pulled her down onto the sofa and put his arm around her, warmth spread through her, starting at her cheek where he kissed her and then it ran through her blood streams. A slight blush came to her rosy cheeks, hardly noticeable if you weren't looking for it.
"Merry Christmas."
Anna smiled at him broadly, and then slid her arm across his torso in a slight resting hug.
"It is beautiful."
Anna agreed, she didn't so much mind the cold but snow killed most plants and made life hard for every living animal out there besides most of humanity. But that was the way things worked.

Erik Night
Erik smied as she hugged him lightly, her hand around his torso. He nodded about her coment to how it was beautiful, and smiled widely at her. He thought about stuff they could do then, the thoughts just coming freely. They could go snowshoeing, skiing or snowboarding, sleding, andything. But, maybe they should just hang out here, at Anna's appartment. That would be fun. Movies, food. Sounded good to Erik. He ran a hand through his hair, and ajusted so his arm still rested around Ann's shoulders, but he was looking at her more.
"So, any plans for today?"
He asked, putting his free hand on her knee lightly. Erik looked around briefly, then his questioning gaze soon returned to Anna.

Anna thought of what she had planned for that day, but she hadn't planned anything, back before all of the trouble had started she would have had everything laid out and planned... not that she had been a control freak or anything before. So, Anna couldn't say that she had anything planned for the beautiful Christmas Eve that had arrived so quickly.
"Can't say that I do, anything you have in mind?"
Anna queried straight back to him, Anna was one of those people that didn't mind- or said they didn't anyway. This could go on forever- saying 'I don't know, what about you?'- and that would be quite tedious....

Erik Night
Erik laughed a little at her answer, and paused, thinking about the things he had come up with, bringing them up and thinking them through quickly. With a little sigh, he smiled and spoke.
"Well, we cou;d go out and do something like snoeshoing or sleding, or we coudl stay here and make some hot chocolate and just hang out."
He said, his blue eyes looking into hers eagerly, a happy expression painted on his face clealry.
"It depends on whether you feel like getting pelted with a snowball or two."
Erik said a little devilishly, his smile amused and a little guily looking. He squeezed her with his arm a little, and awaited her answer.

Anna was enticed by the idea of going outside but she'd rather stay inside in the warmth of the fire, she wasn't feeling ready to adventure out into the frigid cold that could be avoided by staying indoors. This was the case with everytime Erik came over, always either stay in to watch a movie or go out and do sometrhing, Anna believed that it was time to stay in since last time they'd gone out. Anna needed a little peaceful indoors time right now.
"I think we should stay in out of the cold. Unless you really want to go out in that.

Erik Night
Erik smiled widely, seeing her face and listening to her speak. He nodded and grasped her hand with his free hand happily. Entwining his fingers with ehrs, and made a pretend disapproving sigh, then smiled.
"I think I'm fine to stay inside."
He said, nodding, and then looked up at the roof a little, examining it carefully. He wanted to put a misteltoe somewhere, but it didn't seem as if his paln would work out so easily. He could just hold it, right? But, he would have to find the perfect moment, it would be amazing. He looekd outside then, and noticed the amount of snow now falling, lots. With a little shrug he spoke.
"Okay, so hows about we make some hot chocolate, and play a board game or something?"
He said softly, one eyeborw raised, waiting for approval.

Anna laughed at his fake disapproving sigh at her idea for Christmas Eve, she knew he'd go along with it, because they were both pretty much easy going and laid back. Smiling broadly back at him she listened to his reply to her earlier decision, her eyes followed his up to the ceiling, of course she didn't get why he was staring at it, but she let it go. No use thinking about something that is most likely nothing, her suspiscion was quickly dampened, she turned back to him.
"That sounds nice... and warm."
The last part was a half joke, but it wasn't at the same time. It was true, it would be warm and Anna was sure to enjoy that much of Winter. She shifted slightly, getting comfortable once more.

Erik Night
Erik smiled at her comment, and gto up quickly, putting one finger out to show he woud only be a second. He walked into her kitchen, and turned around, taking out a pot, pouring water into it, and boiling it. He then went under a cupboard and grapped a contianed of hot chocolate powder. He didn't really know what it was called, but hot chocolate powder worked good enough. He then took the water off of the stove, poured it into two newly-found mugs, and mixed the hot chocolate with the water and stirring. In a little over ten minuites, he appearesd out if the kitchen, and sat down again, and giving Anna her glass happily. After a sip, he smiled and spoke.
"So, we have the first part down pat. So, do you want to play a board game?"
He asked, tilting his head slightly. He was exited. He didn't knwo why, nor did her care. He just was. He felt like a little kid did before christmas. It was funny really.

Anna shifted away from Erik so that he could get up, apparently he had the hot chocolate making business for himself instead of Anna doing it. Not that she would've mind doing it herself, it was sort of a reaction, she had almost gotten up to do it herself, but Erik beat her to the punch. Her eyes strayed back to the window pane, it was lined was snow and frost from the days 'blizzard'. As if anything could get that extreme around here. As Erik entered the room again and passed her the hot chocolate she answered.
"Sure, I only have a few though..."
Anna smiled at his obvious excitement, it was sort of weird to her, it just made her smile wider.
