Anna went pale alongside Erik, but she didn't look strained or angry or anything, her eyes were still trained on Erik's face worry paled her, she didn't want his parents to be here, it was just added stress to him. So Anna was all adrenalined up with animal instinct, fight or flight, and ready to run for it. Not that she would but in situations like this you should be able to without feeling guilty but Anna knew she'd feel instantly bad if she ran from this. Her front door slammed, sounding like it had almost been knocked off it's hinges with the force, then the footsteps sounded heavier than Erik's. Anna and her family were all tiny and none of them had seen Erik's family before, yet her parents didn't seemed bothered at all. Anna's hand slipped from Erik's when he clenched them together and leaned back against the wall, she was disappointed that her hand was no longer in his to comfort him but she had to deal with it. Now left fully exposed to the wrath of both sets of parents, she seemed to shrink to half her already tiny size, wishing that she could just disappear. Her parents shook hands and greeted and hugged, whatever adults do when they are joining forces to ruin their kids. Anna felt sick to the stomach, perhaps just morning sickness, or fear for Erik and yes, herself.
Anna could see why Erik's mom had fallen in love with his dad, perhaps once he had been as kind and sweet as Erik adding to the look and charm that both father and son held. But why stay with him if he was so overpowering that you were a shadow to him, something as a backup plan? Backseat driver. Anna wouldn't have been able to stay back like that, she was like her mom in that way, and she too looked exactly like her mother. Anna's arms were wrapped around her stomach protectively, she still hadn't said anything, but she didn't know how close she was to actually inputting her voice to this terrible reunion. Anna flinched as Erik and his father both sparred in a sword fight of words, neither of them realized how it was hurting Anna too, seeing father and son fighting like so. Suddenly Anna had had enough of the insanity and instability, she couldn't stand by and watch this war.
"Stop."
She finally managed, though quietly and a little more shakily than she would have wanted. Word Count- 440 Note- Hmmmmm... Erik's dad could go beserk on her for saying that.... hmmmm...

Erik Night
Erik looked over at Anna, his face flushing as he looked over at her. He turned back to his father and glared at him, the man just turned his glare to Anna. His jaw was clenched entirely too tight, and his eyes where looking narrowed and murderous. The infection of the family. Without even thinking, Erik’s father took a step forwards, glaring at Anna’s his faded blue eyes searing towards her relentlessly. Erik tensed again, and watched his father’s every movement. If he was going to try and lay a hand on her, he would have a rude awakening. Erik’s father stepped closer and his look went to one of disgust.
“Don’t you DARE tell me to STOP! This is YOUR TWO mistake and therefore YOU can pay for it and watch my son get a lesson taught to HIM!”
He yelled, and Erik stepped forwards, so his shoulder was at least blocking Anna. Erik’s father wasn’t the only one whose eyes claimed bloody murder. Erik’s normally sweet, childish eyes had an edge to them, one that no one had ever seen. They where icy blue and narrowed, his face was hard as he spat out to his father.
“Back off.”
Was all he said, and his father turned on him. Good. Erik stood his ground, as his father fumed above, him looking down, his teeth grinding against each other rather unattractively. But, Erik didn’t back down, and clearly, this was mind boggling to the large man. He stepped closer, pushing Erik back into the wall, and bent down, so he was face-to-face with his son.
“What’s wrong Erik? Not strong enough to handle your father?”
He spat, smiling at Erik, who was now breathing heavily and trying to get a hold of himself again. That fact that his father called him by his name, not son, or anything like that, made him want to hit him. Let alone the statement. He looked towards Anna and then towards his father, starting to shake his head. It was like an overload of emotion building inside of him, flooding him with anger and adrenaline. What would Anna’s parents think of him now? What would they think of him as he got beaten to a pulp? Would they feel bad, or just be glad their daughter no longer had to deal with the seventeen year old pest? Depends.

Anna's courage was short lived, soon after she had told the two to stop, against her own rational thoughts, his father turned on her. Her eyes widened, glowing a deep forest emerald green as always, as his voice rang out in her ears, shaking her right down to the cells in her blood. Anna didn't think he would be able to turn on someone he didn't know, much less a lady, a pregnant lady at that. But clearly Anna should have gotten this by what Erik had told her, she was relieved when Erik blocked his path to her but was instantly worried for him again. Honestly, the two young people could not catch an easy day could they? Anna's stomch knotted and twisted in worry for Erik, as his father backed him up against the wall, too bad that Anna had some of her old personality back for a visit which meant she would not give up. Stubborn, I was beginning to miss you my dear, nice of you to visit. Anna straightened herself up to her full size and strode over to the father and son, she would not let this happen this way, no not this time. Tiffany had done enough to ruin this, Anna's parents had done enough, Jasper had once done enough and the school had done enough. Anna was not going to let this get in the way now, no chance. She might get herself a mouthful of poison but she was too fed up with this to let it happen now. She slid in between Erik and his father, positively seething, her eyes flickering between amber yellow and emerald green. Anna put her hands on Erik's father's shoulders and gave a gentle shove to get him to back off.
"No, I said stop."
She practically growled threateningly, at the intruding man who thought he could come in her house and take over. Let's see who's Alpha now.
"You are in my house, you respect what I say."
And Anna didn't back down like she normally would have after saying this, she just stood there with her arms crossed over her chest, and stared the man right in the eye, like a wolf would to state dominance.
Muse- You know, it's fine just fine. Word Count- 388 Notes- This is what old Anna was like!!! ;D Me wonders what Erik's father will do...

Erik Night
It was odd, how he didn’t feel scared. Normally, he would have backed down, but not now. No, he was going to teach his father a lesion. Erik was fully prepared t go full out on his father, give him a nice surprise, but Anna was quick to step between the two. Oh god... Erik watched her give his father a little shove, who just narrowed his eyes and bored down on her. She spoke, and Erik was scared then. Not of her, not of his father. But for her. She was venturing onto grounds he knew too much about. Entirely too much about. At Anna’s statements he noticed his father’s straining look, the slight corner of his mouth pulling down irritably. How could this girl stand against HIM? Erik’s instincts came fourth once again, and he stepped beside her, looking down at her a little, as his father just stood still, fuming. He was simply speechless. But, soon, the reaction came. Delayed, but it came. Strong. Erik’s father exhaled deeply, before storming out of the room, returning with a vase from the kitchen. It was delicate and beautiful. Too bad it’s fate was near.. Erik’s father smiled in a rather psychotic way, before speaking.
“Your house your rules? REALLY?”
He barked, before throwing the glass vase as hard as he could towards the tile floor. Erik watched it smash, the little glass pieces spreading themselves out amongst the floor. Why on earth would he do that? Erik, looked up at his father slowly, his eyes narrow, jaw set. Here, was the tip of the anger. The anger from the boy that had hit on Anna, anger from Tiffany, anger from the accident. Everything. Erik knew his father wouldn’t expect it, no matter how much his expression was screaming bloody murder. Surprise daddy. Erik just ran forwards, dusking low, into his father, who with a large grunting noise, was knocked off of his feet and into the other wall with a large thud, before falling to the ground, slightly dizzy. Erik backed off, breathing hard, and turned to Anna.
“We need to call someone. He needs to get taken out of here. I’m sorry.”
He said, keeping an eye on his now-confused father. Too bad he had raised him a little well, now wasn’t it. Anna’s parent may be appalled now, but Anna was to b safe. Anna and her family. And Erik mother. She just stood there, emotionless, her face blank. As if nothing had happened. Erik’s controlling father had done this to her. He had killed her inside. He was going to get himself into a butt load of trouble for it, also. Erik coughed a little, before putting one hand out, to steady himself against the wall. They needed to hurry, before Erik’s father got cauntious enough to blow up. Lucky thing there had been a little candle holder on the wall, right where Erik’s father had hit, isn’t it? Erik didn’t like being violent, but sometimes there was no other choice. This could be the end of him, right now, if his father where to get up. He could very well be killed. But, at least Anna was safe. And, hopefully calling the police. You like jail dad? Because it’s calling your name.

Anna looked up at a very grim seeming Erik who now stood beside her as his father went rather mad looking before storming out of the entryway. Anna made the mistake of thinking he had just given up and left through the back door but apparently this was not the case. She didn't shrink back or flinch as he screamed at her, very unnecessarily, and then smashed the very pretty vase Anna had gotten for a christmas present one year. The vase wasn't really that important to Anna but it would be a pain to clean that mess up. Anna just stood there stubbornly her arms still crossed over her chest, she was not going to give in to this loser. She would not grace his psychotic statement with an answer, it looked like she wouldn't have to do anything about it either. Apparently Erik had it all figured out for himself, perhaps not in the best way possible but the fastest way.
As Erik threw himself toward his father, Anna let out a little surprised gasp at what he was doing. She was slightly shaking at what could happen when his father got up, and it was definitely a 'when' scenario. Not knowing what to do with herself she glanced toward her parents and realized that they had fled from the scene like the cowards they really were. It wasn't appreciated but just a slight relief that it was one less thing to worry about. And then with a sickening crack and thud Erik's father was floored. Okay so Anna didn't like the guy; he was actually sort of creepy, but that didn't mean she wanted him to be hurt. Anna didn't like to see anyone hurt, whether they deserved it or not.
"I'll go take care of it, be back in a second."
Anna answered Erik before fleeing into the kitchen and grabbing the closest phone in the house. Surprisingly she dialed the digits for an ambulance instead of the police department, honestly Erik's father hadn't done anything against the law, only Erik had. He had assaulted his father, and she did not want him in trouble so she called the hospital. She explained everything in her slightly frantic voice, of course it was a played down version of the story. His father was mad, not paying attention to what he was doing, so he tripped and was caught of balance and fell into the candlestick holder. She wasn't sure if he could have a fractured skull or something so she threw that in too. She was back before he had gotten up and had also told the hospital he could be slightly dangerous. Anna crept to Erik's side and took his hand. She definitely wanted him back, she'd never mistrust him, ever again.
"I'm sorry that I didn't trust you Erik. I realize that I should have, but I do now."
Muse- CRAZY! I mean quantity not quality though... Lol! Word Count- 500 Tagged- Erik Notes- Is Erik going to disappear for a month like I planned or some other idea?

Erik Night Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.
.xXx. Erik didn’t really realise what he had done, until has father was lying on the ground motionless. Well, crap. He hadn’t seen the candle holder, but, still his ways took care of things. Erik stood still for a moment, looking at his father, just waiting for him to get up and threaten Erik, or worse. Worse had come so many times before, though. But, would this be the last time? Would John wake up, and hurt him fatally? Erik wasn’t afraid of much, though his father was one thing that scared him to the very core. He had grown up afraid. But now he knew his father was losing his touch. He wasn’t nearly as strong as he used to be, and Erik was only growing stronger. His father’s time would come soon enough. But, at least he had been taught a lesson. Erik’s statement about the police was simply instinct, as he snapped out of his little shocked trance of staring at his incautious father. He let out a shaky breath, before looking towards his wide-eyed mother. So much for being her dream son. But then again, he had blown that chance a long, long time ago.
Erik looked back towards Anna as she walked back, his face unnaturally pail, as well as his breathing wasn’t regulated and normal. He was freaking out, but, it was alright. But, as soon as she came to his side, his expression changed. She took his hand. It was immediate, for him to close his around her, holding it with a comfortable grip. Thank god. To be honest, Erik had thought she would have left him now, for sure. Wanted him out of her house. Out of her life. But, it seemed opposite. Maybe falling down the stairs had its advantages. Erik let out another shaky sigh, and gave her a slight smile, before pulling her closer with utter tenderness to wrap his arms around her in a hug.
“Don’t apologise... I probably would have thought the same... Love you.”
He said softly, before letting her go, though keeping closer to her than he would have previously. She probably didn’t know the effect her words really had on him, but it didn’t matter. He did love her, and he was only expressing himself. Erik had never felt at ease with anyone in life. Not his parents, his sister, not even his friends. But, he felt the odd sensation of comfort around Anna. He would never give up on her. He would never give up on them. And, if it was acts like looking after her, and falling down the stairs, and tackling his possessive father, that got him there, then heck yes he would do it. Erik looked towards his mom, noticing a little tear slid down her check. He smiled sympathetically, and motioned for her to come over. Usually she would have flitted to his side, and kept to herself. But, she was crying. His mother never cried. John had always said crying was for weaker ones. Was she back? Erik held his arms open, and took his mom into a hug, surprised by how long it had been, and how her head was under his chin, now. Guess he had grown. Erik looked towards Anna, and smiled a little again, before continuing to pat his mother on the back, before she pulled away, and took out a tissue to wipe the access moisture away from her eyes. She murmured a small “Sorry,” to Erik, and he responded with a nod, before there was a harsh knock at the door. Exhaling deeply, Erik took a few steps, keeping an eye for his father, and moved to the door. He would probably have to explain his nice bruised head, but it was simple. He fell down the stairs. After hearing his father. So that last part was added on. Not like his father would remember. Erik motioned for the people to come in, following them to where his father lay slumped against the wall.
“We where upstairs, I was with Anna, mom was probably getting food or something. Anyways, I heard a weird thump, and came out here, after falling down the stairs, to find my dad like this. Is he going to be alright?”
Erik asked, using fake concern, as well as a touch of innocence in his statement. He got a glance from a man, who’s little name tag said he was the lead of paramedics.
“Your father will be alright. We’ll get him looked after.”
Was all the burly man said, before turning to help the others get Erik’s out father onto a stretcher. His father was a big man, and it was slightly amusing to watch him being put onto a stretcher. He was thinking about offering to help, but decided against it. Why make the paramedics feel scrawny? Because they weren’t. Well, the lead guys wasn’t. Erik wasn’t surprised his mother followed his father into the ambulance, though her looks of comfort confirmed that she was on their side. She would implant the idea of his father hitting his head, and answer his questions. Nothing else mattered. Erik sighed a little, before following them out, to watch the ambulance drive off into the night. Then, he turned towards Anna, a little smile on his face. One of relief, and the little humorous tint it almost always held.
“I guess I’ll have to buy you a new vase, hmm?”
He asked, smiling a little, before taking her hand lightly once more. Thank you. Whoever is listening to me, thank you. Words: 1, 002 Muse: Good, apparently xD Notes: I've been getting a little practise with longer posts... Hope you enjoy =]
AND, absolutely. =] I still like the idea.. And she'd have the misscariage while he was gone, right? [/size]

Anna looked up at a her Erik as he gripped her hand, she was relieved that he had forgiven her for her horrible judgment. Her emerald green eyes strayed to Erik's father, on the floor, unconscious. She knew that it wouldn't be good for Erik if they found out that their story wasn't true from the wound on the back of his father's head. That made Anna just slightly nervous for him, Erik needed somewhere less stressful on him, somewhere his aggressive side wouldn't be provoked. Anna had the perfect place in mind, but since she was a few weeks from giving birth it'd have to only be a week visit. Anna didn't want to be alone when that time came, secretly she was actually quite scared. Erik's voice snapped her out of her state of deep thought, she smiled her angelic smile up at him before answering.
"I love you too."
Anna wasn't going to try to argue and say that it wasn't okay, and that it was wrong of her to do that to him, like she usually would, there wasn't a point to it anymore. She did love Erik, what was the point of arguing? She relaxed into his arms, before he let her go. Anna didn't know why she had doubted him in the first place, she so obviously belonged at his side. Anna's story was pretty much the same as Erik's, she loved her parents completely but she never felt like Anna around them. It seemed she had to be someone else around them, and she didn't like doing that. Anna preferred being herself, and anyone who couldn't take that wasn't worth her own time. Somewhat like Erik, Anna had a sister, but not just one. Anna had an older sister and a younger sister, they both looked like Anna, thich was Ironic because one of her sisters was seventeen.
Watching Erik's mom, she felt sympathetic toward her. Anna's face softened when his mother started to cry, she was proud that Erik invited her over for a hug. Anna stepped away out of respect to them, she knew that Erik needed to make up with his mother. It's too bad that it would never happen for Anna, at least she had accepted that long ago. The knock at the door startled Anna, she took her eyes away from Erik and toward the door. One hand was above her bulging stomach and one under, the paramedics gave her a fleeting glance, toward her stomach. Erik's next comment made Anna smile.
"No, it's okay."
