Ken and i have been walking for at least 4 hours now, in another 3 we should be getting in to town, it also was the middle of night, pitch black, I stumbled my way around holding my brothers hand so i wont fall, i don't have the best coordination or footing, especially in the dark,"Ken may i have some Berries my stomach is getting empty"i asked as my stomach growled a bit.

I held my sister hand, it was dark you could not even see you foot, and they where right in front of you, as Bella asked for some food i agev her berries like she asked,"Here a handful should do it" i stuffed them i her hand and watched her gobble it down, another 3 hours or so to go.

John was next to the girl, ready to grab her sleeve incase she fell. Everytime she stumbled, he braced himself to leap under her for cushin. Looking around, he barked as he heard a river up ahead. The water sounded like it was going fast. Fast enough to drown anything if it fell in. He hoped there was a way over or a way around it.

I walked along it was about 20 min before we where to town, when i was sure i could hear a river, great,"Ken do you hear a river too?", while i asked i forgot to look where i was going and almost tripped but thanks to the wolf and ken i didn't.

''yes i do too'', then i caught Isabella as she almost fell, we where close, maybe there was a plank they could walk over.

John stopped at the river bank. He barked, hoping they would stop. He looked around and spotted a log. He walked over to it and barked again. He wanted them to go first. If one of them fell he knew he would have to go in for them or he would have to catch them while they were still crossing. He snorted and sat down. I don't know what I'll do when they go into town. he thought to himself. He wished he wasn't the only wolf here. He wanted someone to talk to while traveling.

I looked at the wolf, he wanted to show us something,"Okay wolf lead the way" , She lead him pull her by her sleeve, and she dragged ken by his hand, and all the way she was hungry too, urr after this river we are 10 minutes to town.

John shook his pelt and pointed to the log. He sat down, waiting for them to cross first. It was obvious he wouldn't moe until they headed across. He hoped the log wouldn't break under the weight. He didn't care if it broke under him, but he wanted them to be safely across before he worried about himseld. He barked, waiting. His tail was wagging a bit as he looked across the river at the land. The forest was dark and it looked creepy. He knew, if he made it across, that he would have to keep his eyes open for The Brothers.

I looked at the log the wolf was pointing to, then i noticed he wasn't moving so i headed first,"Okay ill go first then Isabella ill catch you on the other side, the you can come too wolf", i let go of her hand, then look to find a good spot to walk on and so i wont slip, i walk slowly, it was scary to look down as you can see the rushing black water, as i made to the other side i sighed with relief,"Ok come Bella".

I was scared for Ken, but thank god for his patience as he walked across the log,'Okay Bella',He said, i walked to the edge of the log looking a bit sacred, then i stepped on the log, it was hard to find a good footing but i did, and i also did not look down, I was glad when i made it to the other side with Ken catching me, i leaped to his arms scared to fall."Yes we made it, okay wolf, you can come now".

John got up onto the log slowly. He placed his paws carefully onto the log, walking across. Suddenly, he slipped. The hind half of his body fell off of the log, sending his hind paws and part of his tail into the water. He had his calws in the log and his teeth were hanging onto a limb that was still attached. He whined, the cold peircing his skin. He looked around frantically, wondering how he was going to get back up onto the log. He was half way across and knew the kids couldn't reach him unless they came back across.

I screamed as the wolf slipped, then raced across to try and save him i knew i was lighter then Ken..by a long shot, i climbed slowly on all fours , but the log shook so much, and Ken kept screaming things but i could not listen,I was almost to the wolf when the log started to break a bit with our weights, making the wolf go lower in to the water,"NO", then with a last a temp i grabbed his scruff and pulled but i needed help form him too, he needed to climb up.

John tried to scramble up with his paws, but his whole lower half was in the ice cold water. His paws slipped and he plunged into the water. He yelped as he flowed down the rushing river. Water filled his mouth as he tried to get to the surface. He took in as much air as he could, knowing that he would need it. Suddenly, he hit something. It had stopped him. He swam to the surface and turned to see what had stopped him. It was a rock in the river. He smiled a bit, putting his paws on it. He looked around, wondering how he could get to land. He even looked around the rock, to see if there was any danger up ahead.

"Isabella don't move!,"I ran to where the wolf fell and saw that he had scrambled up a rock, or something, it was to dark to tell, I then ran back to words Bella,"Can you stand Bella, or will you have to crawl?".I looked over at the wolf, he seemed okay, so i yelled back at Ken."Ill Crawl", i slowly turned my body around, then moved my legs with the rhythm of my arms slowly making my way back, but what really scared me was the fact that the log creaked and moved, when my legs finally hit the ground, i hugged Ken,"Im okay..what about the wolf, ..wolf are you Hurt?", i ran to where he was, hopping he wasn't hurt.

John looked at the humans. He barked, giving them a sign that he was alright. He wondered how he would get back to shore. He couldn't swim, knowing he would be swept further down the river. He couldn't jump, as the shore was too far away. He stayed calm as he figured he was safe, against the rock. The water couldn't reach him anymore, but he was shivering badly. He wouldn't dare risk shaking his pelt up on the rock, incase he fell off in the process. He kept thinking, searching around the shore for something to maybe grab on to.

I was glad the wolf wasn't hurt , but how are we gonna get him back on shore?,I looked around, not sure i was dark,"Ken do you see any logs or anything we can send to the wolf so he can walk back to shore?", i walk to Ken trying to look around.

I was glad,too, that he was okay but what where we gonna do now, well Bella did give me an idea,"I do see a piece of rotting ,fallen, log, we could use that so the wolf can walk across, lets try, Bella help me drag it", i Jogged over to the flat piece of log, it looked like some one chopped it, then with the help of my sister we dragged it over the bank and to the wolf, but he would have to jump about one feet to land on it, i held on to it to make it stable, that when i heard another howl.
Luna howled she smelled two humans with John, she toughed it could be the twins, she howled so they could know she was coming, she jogged..ran as fast as her legs could, the wind blowing in fur, the dark making her eyes shine in the dark, she was here.

John braced himself to jump. He bunched up his muscles and leaped, landing on the log. He felt it wobble and waited for the cold water to hit him, but it never came. He sighed, relieved. He walked slowly and carefully across the rotting wood and when he got to shore, he shook his pet. Than he sat down and looked at the wolf that had showed up.
"Hello, Luna. How have you and the pack been?" he asked, smiling since he finally had someone to talk to. He hadn't seen them in a few days and he was wondering how The Brothers and Jasper were getting along with the pack.

I smiled as the wolf jumped safely to the shore,"Well you are okay, and who is this..?", i walked over to the new wolf she looked familiar and she seemed to be having a conversation our helper wolf...we need names.
Ken
I was happy to see the wolf safely on dry land, but the new wolf some thing inside be bright her to me..i walked slowly to her,"Isabella, her name is Luna..", i smiled, my heart was jumping every where, after days of hiding out and trying to go back to town i actually fell happy now, i wiped my hair of my face and stated,"I fell it..i know her".
Luna smiled sheepishly to her wolf friend,"Hello John, every thing is okay ..except i thin Creek has snapped",she looks up at the humans noticing they are not The twins but the female was Soyana's bond mate, then the male says Luna's name, as if he knows her, i get up wagging my til at him,CAN YOU HEAR ME?..could this be her bond mate.
