Anna was laying down on the fountain's side with one foot down as if she was standing and the other just flat straight out, Anna was trailing her tiny fingertips in the water and watched the ripples reflect across the lake. She was in a quiet mood, she had been since Jasper had snapped at Erik, she felt the need to come back to where Erik and herself had first met and she sighed at the thought of those days. Everything back then had been so relaxed and teasing, they were learning about each other and coming out of themselves then and now Anna had retreated right back but had come out in a different way.
Anna was back to wearing her black dresses, sleeveless with a black cardigan over it that had three quarter length sleeves. A little gold necklace hung around her neck and the watch Erik had bought her was resting on her wrist. Black, silver, gold, red and white. Where'd the white and red come from? Her skin and hair colour. Anna's emerald green eyes reflected the water's rippling and sparkling. Anna didn't have any shoes on, they were on the floor near the fountain. What she wouldn't give for everything to be back to normal. Anything. |

Erik Night
Erik was walking in the park, hands in his pockets, listening to fire-flies. When he noticed Anna laying on the fountian walls, he took out his Ipod and wlaked over, waving and sitting by her head, smiling largerly.
"Hey."
He said, winking and pullign his legs up so he was sitting crosslegged. He noticed that she was wearing a black dress and the watch he had givin her. SHe looked great.
"How are you?"
He asked politely, watching her expression to him arriving randomly. He had wanted to talk to her. It was kind of his hobby, okay not as in she was somethign to do in his spare time, but as in he thoguht about her every second of the day and it was hard for him to be awyay from her. His blue eyes watched her carefully, looking into her green ones.

Anna noticed Erik's presence as soon as he was there but didn't say anythig until he mentioned something to her, she didn't feel like speaking unless she had to. He sat cross legged by her head and greeted her so it was only polite to do so back.
"Hey."
"Hello."
Anna answered Erik her voice soft and quiet, no one was really around, it was night time so it wasn't exactly unlikely. A soft wind blew through the loevely little park and fireflies danced around in the night sky.
"How are you?"
"I'm fine."
Anna replied to Erik while still staring up into diamond littered black sky, or navy blue sky. |

Erik Night
He knew something was wrong. As Anna looked up at the stars of the dark evening sky he had a weird feelign in the pit of his stomach.
"You okay?"
He asked, looking into the running waters of the fountain. Water was really extrordinary under the moonlight. He gazed back to Anna, her green eyes wachign the sky still. What shodul he say? He wanted to make her feel better, but how was he sopposed to do that? Women where very hard to understand sometimes. Erik put his hood down and ran a hand through his blonde hair before he reajusted his seat once more.

Anna's emerald green eyes darkened to a dull moss green, as she noticed Erik had suspected something was wrong.
"Yeah, I'm fine. This is what I meant be normal when I first met you."
Anna answered almost too quickly but she didn't want him to worry, and this used to be her normal, Anna guessed that Jasper had gotten his normal back and now it reflected onto her. But she was sad because she didn't want to be her normal around Erik, it was bound to get her in trouble sometime. She heard about the Twins, and what they had done to other bondmates.
"Erik, I'm not worried about it but I'm in a hell of a lot of trouble and so is this town." |

SOmething was wrong, and he wodul find out. WHo where those... the twins?
"The twins... who are those?"
He asked, not thinking before he spoke. He had heard of these before.. and he wondered what the bid deal could be. Twins. Sounded like some kids or something. WHat coudl some kids do? Erik looked confusedly down at Anna, his brown furrowing. Was it something more than he thoguht? Sure seemed liek it. Maybe it was somethign to do with bonds... Ugh he didn't know! Erik looked towards Anna again, his jaw tight. He wanted to understand, it annoyyed him when he coudln't/

Anna's manic smile broke and spread across her face as Erik's question carried a whole different meaning to her than it had sounded to him. The Twins were kids, and that was the point, they wouldn't be suspected for murder now would they? No because twin teens were never suspected for everything and Erik sounded like he underestimated them, which was a fatal mistake.
"The Twins are just that, Fourteen year old twins. Trained assassins, except they are assassins for the Bond, but mostly the wolf side, and they aren't hired by anyone."
Anna's voice was well trained for explaining things to people, after all she was a sub and she had gone over the explanation in her head many a time. Anna sat up and turned to Erik, her eyes had a sparkle in them as if the whole subject excited her, which it obviously did.
"Jasper's scar? That runs the length of his body, shoulder to rump? That was a knife, wielded by the female side of the Twins." |

Erik Nigth
Erik listened intently as she spoke of the twins. HIs face went from partly happy to solemn very quickly. SO this hwole area was in danger? The whoek hting sounded like something from an action movie. He coudl see it now.. "Assasins of the Bonds," that was just plain creepy.
"Wow. I guess my problems aren't nearly as bad..."
He said, watchign her sit up as he tossed a red birthday card onto the cement of the fountain.
"My parents. They want me to come back with them for my birthday. It drives me insane how they don't even act like they didn't kick me out."
He said, sighing.

Anna's manic smiled dimmed to nothing but a slight turn up at the edges of her red lips, just trying to look slightly happy.
"Wow. I guess my problems aren't nearly as bad..."
Anna followed the birthday card with her eyes as it landed on the concrete of the fountain, her eyes saddened, but this wasn't the time to make it about herself. Anna noticed that she had been changing all of Erik's problem's into her own and she was sick of her sad attitude.
"My parents. They want me to come back with them for my birthday. It drives me insane how they don't even act like they didn't kick me out."
Anna sighed as she had to tell Erik something, and he might not like it but teenagers would be teenagers and they didn't know half of what they would later in life. So Anna decided to plain out say it.
"I know you won't like it but maybe they're sorry for it. Maybe this is their way of apologizing and trying to make up for it Erik. They're still family after all, they still love you."
Anna reasoned a pained look in her eyes, trying to get him to listen to her, even though she didn't like it, if Erik's parents wanted him back and he agreed to it... then he'd be gone. It would be good for him to have a normal life.
"You should go for it Erik. I didn't have the chance and now I never will." |

Erik looked up at Anna, and extremely set and croos loo on his face, not one many have seen before. His jaw emmediately clenched, and his whole body went tence. Funny how a few words coudil make him so pained. You coudl tekk he was trying to resist it, tryign to soften up. But, his parents had pushed a button that had a 'DO NOT PUSH,' sign on it. He tried to comppose himself, and when he felt ready, he looked up at Anna.
"I can't go. There is no way anyone can make me go."
Was all he could say.

Anna sighed at his tense stature and his final reply, everything had been so strained and tense between them since she had first taught at his school and it hadn't let up. She didn't want to end their relationship, that's the last thing she would want to do- ever, but she was more like a friend to him than anything else really. Heart stopping at the negative thought she stopped it and thought nothing more of it.
"No one can make you do anything you don't want to, so I won't try."
Her eyes looked down at the red card again, red like a heart that should appear broken by now. Erik had made a big mistake in Anna's eyes, but she couldn't change it.

Erik looked down, following Anna's gaze.
"I can do everyhting here that I can there. Plus I won't have to live up to all expactations. I won't be hounded if I make a mistake."
He said, more trying to convince himself. He knew it would make his parents happy if he went, but they where so hard on him. His father had even hit him a few times, only becuase the famliy was so stressed constantly. Maybe his parents had stopped fighting so much.. He codul really only hope.
"Ah crap."
He muttered. SO, at first he was set on leaving it be, but then he had sort of changed his mind. But... Anna. He woudl miss her if he had to go. Like miss her insanely.

Anna listened to his mindless comments that were really indecided thoughts spoken aloud mainly for himself but who was Anna not to listen? She was there to listen and make things better, that's what friends were for- but they weren't friends... they were more than that. It was pretty discouraging that Anna had to keep remiding herself of that though, she wondered if everything really should end. The thought was destroyed as soon as it was made, poor thing hadn't even had consideration or a second chance on its side.
Anna knew that she would miss him terribly, but she had to go home now.
"I guess I'll see you after your birthday."
She got up and hugged him lightly, like friends would before leaving quickly. She was so messed up at the moment.

Erik Night
Erik watched her walk away, and stayed at the spot, staring down at the card. Time passed, and soon it was completely black. He hadn't moved. At all. Finally, Erik got up abruptly, and walked down the path, trying to get his eyes to ajust to the light. The card sat at the fountain, where it would sit until a wind came or another found it. Erik walked towards his car and got in, driving out, but not to where he currently lived. He picked up his cell and called the nuber he had lived at for the beginnings of his life.
"I'm coming home."
