Jasper heard Silverheart's voice, and a deep threatening growl back at her. He knew that it was John, but the strangled gasp from Silverheart was too much. He couldn't avoid her for very much longer anyways. Jasper picked up his speed to a flat out sprint, he was seeing red and couldn't control himself. Pent up anger and loneliness ruled every bit of logic he had left out of his mind. He barrelled into the clearing and straight into John. Jasper pinned John down and arched his fang over the half-breed's throat.
"Don't even think about touching her."
Jasper snarled, no joke it sounded like a murder threat. It pretty much was, Jasper didn't care if John and him and worked together while he was still in the pack. If he thought about laying a paw on Silverheart, then that was all that mattered. All past alliances were cut off.

Silverheart sighed in relief. She got to her paws and shook her pelt. There were a few drops of blood, but nothing serious. She looked up at Jasper and John.
John snarled at Jasper. "Get off of me. I don't even see why you care. You obviously don't love her, since you're running away from her every time she tries to find you," he growled, although he knew he was pushing it. "You know she's getting so much closer to one of the brothers. She's drifting away from you, you better catch her while you have the chance," he added, right before he pushed all his weight up. He was up on his hind paws as he snapped at Jasper's ear.

Jasper only got more angry at the comments John made toward him. And anyways John had no right to talk about relationships, where was his going? Nowhere, obviously it was ending, horribly unjustified- but still ending.
"Just because we're not mates and it seems that I don't love her doesn't give you the god given right to kill her. It's none of my business if she falls for someone else, that's her choice. You have no room to talk anyways, at least I'm not running away from a mate and a newborn family. You sadistic coward."
Jasper reared up onto his hind paws, while John bit down on his ear. Jasper slammed his front paws down onto John's shoulder with all his strength and weight- that's about between 150-200 pounds of pure muscle. His ear was bloody and torn but that didn't faze him on bit.

John had tried to dodge, but was knocked over. He quickly made it back to his paws and went in to bite at Jasper's neck. He heard paw steps suddenly and fell over. He looked up to see Gin standing over him. He bared his teeth a bit.
"Stop it, both of you are acting like pups," Gin barked at both of the males. His eyes went from each male to Silverheart, who looked a bit shocked. "If you're going to go, John then go, but don't expect Soyana to welcome you back to the pack. We've all tried to get you to come back, but obviously you don't want to," he added, turning back to the wolf-dog.

Jasper was still infuriated by John's ignorance but when Gin came in and told them that they were acting like pups, it calmed him slightly. Okay, yeah Jasper was angry that Gin was telling them that they were acting like pups, when really he was the one who wouldn't risk his neck for any other living thing. That was how pups acted, they were scared and small and not willing to get hurt, which was okay, it would mostly keep them out of trouble.
"Who are you to tell us that we're acting like pups? You're the one who won't even put yourself behind a deer to help feed the pack."
And that was all Jasper had to say, he didn't say it quite angrily but in a warning dort of way. He wasn't going to input to the issue of John leaving because he didn't know of the problem. He just sat down and rubbed his ear with his paw, yup it was certaintly bleeding. Oh well.

Gin ignored Jasper's comment. He turned away from John and looked at the rest.
Silverheart slowly padded over to Jasper and sat down next to him. She licked his ear lightly. "Are you okay?" she asked. Looking not all that worried, but she knew how even the smallest wounds could get infected easily.
John snorted and looked away from all of them. He didn't know what to say or do now.

Jasper was slightly uncomfortable as everything went silent and Silverheart took the opportunity to lick his ear and ask if he was alright. Jasper really did like Silverheart, but Jasper was afraid for her. He kept disappearing and he wasn't in the pack... he didn't want to hurt her. Why did everything have to be so complicated? Jasper shrugged away from Silverheart gently, and very awkwardly and then looked at her apologetically before answering her question.
"I'm just fine but isn't this about John's insensitive and uncaring act and not about me?"

Silverheart looked kind of sad when he shrugged away from her. She quickly hid the feeling and shook her head. She was about to say something to John, but noticed he was walking away, back into the woods. She sighed and looked back at Jasper. "Not anymore. He's made up his mind," she said, looking back at him.
Gin followed John, making sure he didn't start anything else incase he ran into anybody else who was in the pack.

Jasper scowled at John's sorry reatreating backside, well someone had to break the news to Luna, and Jasper didn't mind being only good for bringing bad news. Not as if he had a place in the pack to keep, maybe his sister would get mad at him but what could she do? Jasper glanced toward Silverheart, a regretful look on his face. He didn't know what to do, and he had caught the sad look on her face. It was tearing him apart and fraying his nerves. Jasper stood up and took a few steps back, he was dying to walk around but he couldn't leave her like that. His muscles twitched visibly from his ever fraying nerves as he stared Silverheart in the eye.
"Silverheart I..."
But, alas he didn't know what to finish the sentence with. He just stood, an obviously pained, pleading expression on his face. Begging her to understand what was wrong with him, what he couldn't bring himself to say out loud.
"You do know that... that I... love... you... right?"
Jasper finally stuttered/exhaled. It was harder than he could have ever imagined, but finally the fraying nerves left him and he was relaxed again, it would be so much easier now that he had told her. But after all the times he'd left her and disappeared, could she understand? He had to keep going and convince her... of what? Something, anything.
"I wouldn't leave you, not like I have so many times, definitely not like John. If I really had to leave I'd tell you and give you reasons."

Silverheart looked at the ground after a minute. "Then why haven't you given me a reason yet?" she asked, looking back up at him. "Why haven't you told me before? You knew what my feelings were towards you. You know what my feelings are, Jasper and you still left," she said, getting to her paws. She looked at the ground a bit hurt. "I tried to let go and try Genba for another mate, but It just wasn't the same. I've always wanted you to come back, but you never did," she added.

Jasper looked away from her, he had owed her no explanation. They weren't together, they loved each other but they weren't even all that close. They didn't know each other that well, these thoughts only made Jasper confused. Why did he feel as if he owed her explanations if he knew that he didn't? It was all making no sense at all.
"Silverheart, one thing you have to realize is that I'm not meant for pack life. I wasn't brought up that way, so its awkward for me. I'm stuck between staying here with you and staying around town with my person."

Drifter watched all of this he was not sure what to do or say, for once, and he just watched surprised, for once he did not see this coming or knew what was in some of this wolfs mind, he sat there shock on his face, he could not move or speak, all he hoped was that good would come out of this.
Kaylanda giggled, ''Of Course I am almost an adult now an i have to start acting like on, specially around the pups", Her eyes where like fire, she really meant what she said, and her heart really was thinking about some thing that she could now feel that as a pup she could not...love.
Luna smiled,her pups where looking healthy and she was not so tired now, but her mom had been gone for a while, Where is she?,Luna wanted to search for her but new her mom was a independent wolf and that she would probably be back soon, all would be fine.

"Well take me with you. I don't have to stay in this pack," Silverheart said, taking a step towards him and pressed her muzzle to his shoulder. "I don't want you to leave me again, Jasper," she added.
Akame looked at Kaylanda. "I don't fully act like an adult still. Its so much more fun being a pup, but there are certain moments that you have to act like one," he stated, smiling at her.

Kaylanda Yawned she knew he was right, if you where to serious for ever you would go mad,"I belive you, now....shall i hunt or their is enough food for now?", she was still considered a pup in the pack so she is not kept totally updated on the pack life wich to her was boring at times knwoing about there was a starnhge scent here, we need food.blah..blah, but now she is trying to become a bit more serious.

"We're good on food for now and plus, the wolves that are out walking around usually bring food back, so you can relax," Akame said, yawning a bit. He looked down at the pups and noticed a few of them were asleep.
Gin came into the clearing the pack was in and yawned. He had a rabbit in his mouth and he dropped it next to Luna. "Jasper, Silverheart, Drifter, and I talked to John. He told us that he made a mistake, but is too embarassed to just come walking back in. He's also worried that you're mad at him and don't want him anymore. He's only a few minutes away, but you obviously can't see him now. I'll take you to him when everyone is asleep, if you want to see him," he said in a hushed voice so only she could hear him.
