Riding Around

Jessica

I rode around on my horse. Telling her to slow down, I put her through a trot through the forest. The scenery was beautiful, and it was so peaceful. Once at the border of the forest, I put her into a gallop and let herself out. For she need to let out some of that built in energy. Slowly, I brought her to a halt and squinted into the shadows. Suprised, I spotted a wolf, but it then ran off, pure terrified of me.

Sonyador

Seeing the person, I quickly got up to my legs and ran off. I was terrified and wanted to get away as fast as I could. I knew some humans meant danger, and that big horse could hurt me by kicking me.

Soraya

I saw Sonyador running off in the opposite direction.... why? I didn't know, oh! Human! I was practically wagging my tail for a belly rub! Not, uh, pet dogs were so needy and loyal to humans. Why??? Don't ask me how was I supposed to know? Just because I had wandered into a house and a human had touched me, and I liked it but I wasn't a freaking house dog. Let's see if I could spook the horse. Running full speed to the horse looking as much a wolf as I could I barked and howled blood curdling shrieks. I loved this. I weaved around the horses legs and raced away a few feet, ready for the showdown.

Jessica

Jessica then saw the other wolve running around her horse. The horse reared up, and began bucking, afraid of the wolf. Trying to calm her horse down, she talked to it softly with her voice. Still scared, Flicka continued to rear up and whinny. Not sure what to do, but make her move, Jessica brought her horse down on all fours and nudged the horse into a trot. Flicka cooprated and began trotting. Then after her horse was calmed down, she brought her up by the wolve once more, and Flicka seemed to accept that there was a wolve, right there.

Soraya

Okay, I was confused as to why the human had brought the horse back to me. Did she want her horse eaten? I could feel its pulse, its heart beat. It was something a wolf'd hunt in the wild I mean it had hoofs and wasn't a predator. Licking my lips I stared the human down. My yellow gold flecked eyes boring into her, hopefully, I sure hoped it worked like it did with my pack. Or that would be wasted energy.

Jessica

Jessica saw the wolf staring her and her horse down, and wondered why in the world the wolf was doing that. For she wasn't a wolf and she didn't know wolf terms. Flicka lowered her head to the wolf and snorted, as if to say 'back off'. Seeing her horse do that, Jessica laughed and and Flicka whinnyed to the wolf, in a rather stubborn way.

Soraya

I growled at the horse's snort. The human was laughing which I didn't appreciate. But I guess in some sick human way this would be funny. I mean I couldn't understand the horse nor could it understand me. So the snorting and growling was pretty pointless. Okay now I was laughing, openly, but the human wouldn't get it so I smiled in a wolf way. ROlling onto my back to expose my belly, the ultimate it's okay I'm no threat sign. But to a human it was bellyrub, not saying that I would snap her hand off. I guess being so closely associated with dogs it would be kind of.... pleasurable.

Jessica

Jessica looked at the wolf, wondering why it was showing its belly. Probably a bellyrub it wants she thought and wondered if she should rub its belly, or stay on the horse, away from danger. Still wondering why on the earth the wolf was doing that, she figured it was saying that it meant no harm, so she dismounted her horse and said softly "Hi there little wolf, what are you doing, wanting a bellyrub?"

Soraya

I rolled onto my front slowly, my ears were still laid my back onto my head. Whining to mean I meant no harm I shuffled forward on my belly.

Jessica

Seeing that the wolf rolling back onti its belly, she backed away from the wolf to give it its space and mounted her horse. She didn't know what to do, and so she watched the wolf. She had never been so close to one, and it wasn't even running away. Weird, but it was okay she guessed.

Soraya

Ugh! Humans just didn't get it, I just wanted to see it up close. What were they so scared of? Hey, I had an idea! I lifted my injured paw off of the ground and whimpered like a hurt puppy, it did hurt but not as much as to go to a human to help. I limped toward the human with a sad house dog face. This was easy, but I hated being like this just to get a human to come up close. Come human, come on, don't be scared of me. My eyes said.

Jessica

Seeing that the wolve seemed to have a hurt paw, she dismounting her horse once more. Then she walked up to it and examined its paw. Seeing that the wolf had the house dog eyes she said "You poor wolf." The wolf didn't seem to have anything wrong with its paw but she gently left go of its paw and realized she had just touched a wolf. With wonder on why the wolf wanted her so close she stood there, confused on why the wolf wanted to be close to her.

Soraya

Ha! She'd gotten the human close to her, she didn't know why she felt good about that. The pull that she had felt with Isabella hadn't come with Jessica but Jessica made her feel a whole lot better about herself. Jessica didn't shoo her out when she had her paw trapped under a bookshelf. Jessica didn't back away from her looking scared. Jessica touched her and felt sorry for her. Soraya was confused, she licked the humans face then turned away and ran into the forest. She felt horrible.
