Late Night Walk~Soyana[open]

[Stella]

Isabella walked along the woods the full moon shining bright making a cast of shadows right where the woods end,Isabella had decided to come to the beach to think, even though it was cold, she needed some time, her mind was wondering every where, the fact that Iris was back and for now the twins seem to have disappeared and life can go on. But Isabella was not exactly happy yet, she was wondering the beach bare foot and thinking about these things, her life has been mayhem and now for the first time it looked all right and her brother was back...but some thing was missing and she did not know what it was yet. Isabella found a long and sat on looking at the ocean,Where has Soyana been?.

[Jisa]

Soyana was tired and thin from caring for her pups, she feared that two of them wouldn't make the winter. It was a depressing thought but it was just life... or perhaps death, anyways so she needed some time to herself. She hadn't seen her bond, Isabella for two seasons and that was pretty bad. She knew that Isabella wasn't dead but she couldn't help but think it, the long silence was enough to make you think that. The wind that ruffled her fur soothed her nerves, everything had gotten complicated lately, the pack hadn't had a break. Then she spied a familiar figure but froze where she was, unsure of what to do.

[Stella]

Isabella did not think about that she wanted to have a nice night to look at the moon and hear the waves hitting the sand, but she felt something close standing there looking at her, so Isabella turned her head, but could not really see perfectly what it was, she stood up and now could see a black wolf figure and whispered in her mind, Soyana is that you?, Isabella was not sure if she should walk up to the wolf as she was not sure if it was her bond, it was dark, and the wolf was hard to see, But Isabella could see it was a familiar figure, but why didnt she come closer?

[Jisa]

Soyana's sharp night vision could see the soft questioning in the young girl's eyes, Soyana bristled at the girl's words in her head. She did not like the bond, she did not want the bond, but the bond willed her to love this girl in a way Soyana was scared of. She still didn't make a move forward, but the full force of the bond brought spots into Soyana's vision, fighting the bond made it worse. And then she couldn't see anything, pain was banging in her head as her knee's buckled and Soyana fell forward. A surprised yelp tumbled out of her mouth, as she lay on her side and still fought the pull of the bond. Whimpers were heard from her muzzle as she lay on her side unable to see.

[Stella]

Isabella looked as the wolf did not move but then yelped and fell forward, Isabella was shocked, she grabbed her shoes and raced forward in till she could see it was truly Soyana, and she noticed the she-wolfs stomach was not exactly small but big and weird like when a dog has had pups not too long ago, Isabella eyes got watery,What has happened to you..., she was scared for Soyana, but right now there was some thing happening to Soyana and Isabella had no idea what to do.

Soyana's vision gradually came back but she was instantly uneasy because of this girl's closeness, wild animals were not supposed to come this close to humans, it just wasn't natural. But what had been natural in Soyana's life so far? Nothing. Her whimpering stopped but she still didn't feel strong enough to get up, the bond was forcing her to give in, and Soyana didn't want to but the fighting it became a weak attempt. Yet she still wasn't giving in. Finally she stood and took a few steps away from the girl and listened to the words in her head again. She growled at the words, did she really look that bad?

I'm just fine. Thankyou very much, but you don't exactly look good when you have four furballs sucking the life out of you. But I am doing better than Luna is. And I know you know who she is. I had to get away from the pack, while no one is doing anything to keep Luna and I alive except for the ever disappearing Salmon Creek. So there, I gave you an update, why won't this bond thing leave me alone?

Soyana had finally given in to this ridiculous bond thing, but it frustrated her that it didn't leave her alone after she had spoken to this girl in her rough, Alphaess voice. But her voice through her head had come out sweeter, like her old self before everything had gone awry.

[Stella]

Isabella sighed as the she-wolf stopped whimpering and got up, but sadness got to her as Soyana walked a few steps back, Isabella decided to sit down and cross her legs looking straight at Soyana's eyes, as she listened to the updated,Im happy to hear you had puppys Soyana, but You're pack seems....lost.Isabella tried to skimper closer to the she-wolf, to pet her maybe, Isabella's hand was up, but she could tell Soyana was unconfortable by the bond, in the way she looked and her words, Isabella could tell their was more wrong too,Is the pack dying or are your pups ummm...Sick?, She did not know how to say this but there was worry in Soyana's amber eyes.

[Jisa]

Soyana didn't like that the girl kept talking to her through the bond, it was very annoying seeing as Soyana just wanted to get away from this. The girl's words might have been true but that didn't mean Soyana liked it. This girl had no idea what was going on, so she had no right to judge her pack, it was a hard time.

And what do you know about my pack? Nothing.

Soyana snarled protectively in her head toward the girl, her bond, the one that she needed to protect no matter what. But this was nothing to Soyana, need is the fatal mistake in relationships for anything, including the bond. Soyana maneuvered artfully backward away from Isabella's hand.

You forget that I am not a dog human.

She growled angrily toward Isabella, she did not need affection from this human or anyone. Soyana didn't rely on anything or anyone, she only needed herself and she could keep herself alive. So okay, she had trust problems and preferred being alone, but she was also afraid of being alone, which is why she had her pack. Soyana's eyes narrowed at Isabella's next comment, it stung her.

I don't need your sympathy, and I don't have to tell you anything.

But Soyana's mind-voice quivered with sadness and it betrayed the answer she didn't want to tell the intruding girl.

[Stella]

Isabella's eye watered a bit at the harsh words that came out of Soyana and in to her mind, she admittedly put her hand down and looked at Soyana with sadness in her eyes.I do know other wolfs Soyana.. she whispered quietly in her mind, the growling making Isabella sad, and betrayed. But the fact that Soyana did look beat up at the way Isabella talked about her pups, she would not give up and try to help,Soyana...I just want to help, your pack does mean some thing to me, dont let your self beat up or bond. Isabella inched forward crawling like a baby and was almost ye to eye with Soyana now.

[Jisa]

Soyana knew that she was hurting Isabella and it hurt her but she didn't want this type of closeness, as I said before she was scared of it. For reasons unknown to anyone but herself, and so when there wasd anything threatening to know her, she ran away. She let Isabella come closer, she was too tired to move away again, fighting the bond had weakened her to the point where she gave in to it. She never backed down or lost the eye contact thing but she didn't want to dominate Isabella so she kept her eyes down in submission.

You couldn't help me.

[Stella]

Isabella turned her face toward the moon but turned her head back to Soyana, the she-wolf looked so fragile right now, that made Isabella nervous,I can try..., was all she said even though Isabella new she probably could do little to help the black she-wolf, that was a disappointment to Isabella, which made her sit back down on the sand, she could only hear the ocean hitting the beach.

[Jisa]

Soyana felt Isabella's disappointment, it made Soyana's stomach drop as she tentatively reached forward with a paw to touch the young girl's shoulder almost comfortingly. Soyana didn't particularly want to be close to this girl, but she didn't want the girl to feel so bad on Soyana's part. This was the bond, and it was the part that irritated... no, frightened her the most.

You couldn't, it... it's not something humans could... help.

Soyana tried desperately to right the wrong she had made toward Isabella, the only way she knew how was to play. It's what a pack did to sharpen their skills, and to strengthen the bond between them all. So Soyana jumped backward and lowered her chest to the ground, and stuck her rump in the air waving her tail. Her pink tongue hung out of her mouth and her eyes glowed a warm ember fiery amber.

[Stella]

Isabella sighed she but as soon as Soyana touched her on the shoulder it made her feel better like a friend was here, but she new Soyana was strong and that she will make it, what ever it was.

Play?...umm, i can try...if you give me a two second head start.

Isabella started to get up, but the way Soyana stood her with her chest bowed down it made Isabella giggle, it made her think of puppies, she put her shoes on quickly and started to run not sure how Soyana would really catch her, Are we playing tag?

Soyana barked out a laugh at the awkward reply she got from Isabella, of course a human wouldn't know how to loosen up and play. They lost that ability long ago, so Soyana would teach her how to, and once again she could. Okay so maybe Soyana would enjoy this part of the bond, play time was something that wasn't done very much in the pack, and Soyana had too much pride to start it. Tag? She hadn't heard of names for playing but she ran after Isabella anyways. She easily caught up and overtook the girl, and then she jumped with her paws onto the girls chest.

[Stella]

Isabella ran but she could feel Soyana easily run behind her, next hing she new, Isabella had lost her balance and big paws where on her chest, but Isabella caught her balance but not easily she almost feel into the sand,This is fun!, Isabella's eyes where sparkling, despise the dark night, and she laughed, she has never guessed she could ever play TAG with a wolf,The sun..As Isabella saw the now the sun was starting to rise their was a faint light there, but she didn't mind it just made the movement even more beautiful.
