Angie
Moving the boxes into the house, I called to Jessica to come help me move them. Sighing I knew this was hard work and it had to be done. Just a few more things needed to be done after this, getting the horse settled in and stocking up on food. Looking around, I saw Jessica come up and I told her what to move into the house.
Jessica
I came up to my mom and she told me that I needed to help move boxes into the house. Sighing, I picked up the boxes and put them in the house one by one. After all the boxes were moved in, I asked my mom if I could go out and see to Flicka.
Angie
I nodded at her help move the rest of the boxes and when she came, asking if she could see to Flicka, I said yes and let her go. She was a wild teenager, always wanting to be with her horse. I knew it would be hard on her when that animal died someday, but life is life.
Jessica
I ran off to the barn in the backyard. I slid open the door and called out to Flicka "Hey Flcika, hows it going? I brought you some carrots as a treat for being good while we moved the boxes in. Here ya go." Flicka ate the carrots and I ran my hand over her smooth velvelty head. I loved her more than anything and I would not ever let her go. I patted Flicka then grabbed her grooming kit and groomed her till she shined like the sun. Then I grabbed her tack and tacked her. Walking her outside, I then mounted her and rode out onto the trail. I had never been on this trail and so I was excited, making Flicka all jumpy. I relaxed, and she followed that, as I rode her I nudged her into a gallop, roud the trails and around again. When I was done, I rode back up to the barn, and brung her to a halt. Laughing, I dismounted and patted her. "Good girl" I said and looked around to see if anybody was around.
